Task #8629: Replaced all occurrences of 'install(PROGRAM ...)' with 'lofar_add_(s)bin_script(...)', except where DESTINATION was not (s)bin, or where extra options are passed to the install-command.

Task #8161: fix build on CentOS 7. Add variants.dop256 to build on CentOS 7 (my laptop atm). Equalize compiler variants file options. Add CMAKE_SHARED_LINKER_FLAGS to set linker flags for shared libs (CentOS 7 GCC ld keeps default on not opting out overlinking, but can be changed now as in my variants file). Patch out build breakage when using log4cxx .

Jan David agreed it makes sense, although some software covered is not
currently maintained by the RO software team.
All replacements happen in comments, so this is safe. (viewed svn diff | grep ... by hand)

Task #1418: Moved sources in MAC/APL/Appl_Controller into a separate src directory, as agreed upon with Ruud on Nov. 23, 2012.

Task #3250: Moved lofarDirs.h from MAC/APL/Appl_Controller to LCS/ApplCommon and renamed it to LofarDirs.h

Task #2050: Added our own terminate handler and removed catch clauses for exceptions other than LOFAR::Exception.

- moved start/stopBGL.sh to RTCP/Run
- renamed runParset.py.log to startBGL.log
- parse startBGL.log through the Logger to get log rotation
- archive old startBGL.log.*

Task #2862: ApplController now generates a parset filename using the obsid, and removed the depricated search for CNProc.parset
