TMSS-528: Resolve $refs when adding defaults to supply defaults for the referenced schemas as well. This makes referencing schemas more  transparent.

TMSS_614: Auto-supply empty defaults for objects & arrays, to allow the defaults of their properties to cascade. This saves us from having to supply empty defaults to have those objects to be presented in the defaults.
