Extending datamodel with description

Yan Grange requested to merge datamodel into main

The main issue covered here is extending the data model with a description. But since I was working on this branch anyway I also improved the code coverage and applied the outstanding action to move the loggers from the classes to the main module file.

I think after this I may create a release version of the script and will actually use that for LoTSS DR2.
