SW-919: Changed svn.astron.nl to git.astron.nl for code reference and checkout instructions/examples

Added some detailed comments inline. Generally, it's a bit unfortunate that the documentation seems to still be only on SVN, but to solve that is of course out of scope of this ticket.

I noticed that some of the changed code is now using placeholders where the old code was a working example using trunk. It's not necessarily worse, but you could've just used master to allow copy-pasta.
