Do we need to version logs?

At https://git.astron.nl/astron-sdc/esap-api-gateway/-/blob/master/esap/logs/esap.log we appear to be regularly committing a log file to version control. This seems like it's probably a mistake — we might want to store this file, but not in a code repository. Can we remove it?
