+This document has presented an evaluation of the \pgls{ESAP} --- the \Acrlong{ESAP} --- system delivered by \gls{ESCAPE} \gls{WP}5.
+It has summarized the long-term vision for \gls{ESAP} development (\cref{sec:vision}) and taken stock of what was achieved during the funded period of \gls{ESCAPE} (\cref{sec:delivered}).
+It has compared these against documented requirements (\cref{sec:requirements}) and the ways in which \gls{ESFRI} stakeholders are engaging with and building upon \gls{ESAP} (\cref{sec:esfri}).
+This analysis demonstrates that the system delivered within \gls{ESCAPE} meets a wide range of expressed \gls{ESFRI} needs; it provides an immediately functional product, but also a solid basis for future development by \glspl{ESFRI} to meet their specific needs.
+This conclusion is supported by the positive reaction to \gls{ESAP} expressed by the community when it was presented at the \emph{ESCAPE to the Future} event in October 2022\footnote{\url{https://projectescape.eu/events/escape-future}}, at the \emph{ESAP Training Workshop} in November 2022\footnote{\url{https://indico.in2p3.fr/e/EsapTraining}}, and at \emph{ESCAPE ESAP and Citizen Science} webinar in December 2022\footnote{\url{https://projectescape.eu/events/escape-esap-and-citizen-science-supporting-science-analysis-and-enhancing-scientific-research}}.

+Based on the above, we regard the development of \gls{ESAP} to have successfully met the goals expressed for the \gls{ESCAPE} project.
+However, it also presents an opportunity to go further: the \gls{ESAP} system provides useful capabilities and has achieved a critical mass which makes it a viable product in the future.
+Therefore, in \cref{sec:future} we described potential approaches to future work, both in terms of the organization of the project and the technical challenges which could be addressed.

+The conclusion of the \gls{ESCAPE} project marks the release of the first stable version of \gls{ESAP}, which may be accessed as described in \cref{sec:access}.
+However, we are optimistic that the system will continue to grown and evolve into the future.
